[Milwaukee, Wis.] – District 1 Court of Appeals Judge Rebecca Bradley announced her candidacy to replace retiring State Supreme Court Justice N. Patrick Crooks in the spring election.

“Today, I am responding to a calling to serve my State as a Justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court,” said Judge Rebecca Bradley. “I am asking the people of Wisconsin to elect me to serve as a Justice on our State’s highest court because it is so important to have justices who understand their duty to apply the law as it is written… who respect the separation of powers established in our written Constitution, and who will not legislate from the bench.”

Judge Rebecca Bradley expressed her appreciation for the service of Justice Crooks.

“I would like to take this opportunity to join the people of Wisconsin in thanking Justice Crooks for his decades of service to our State.”
