[Madison, Wis.] – Today, Justice Rebecca Bradley’s campaign announced that she received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association to retain her seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
“I am very thankful for the support and endorsement of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association and all of the small businesses throughout Wisconsin that they represent” said Justice Rebecca Bradley. “To have the confidence of so many small business owners is humbling.”
The Wisconsin Restaurant Association represents thousands of foodservice businesses encompassing virtually every size of establishment in the state. The Association’s membership includes fine dining establishments, mom-and-pop supper clubs, small cafes, fast food outlets, casual dining chain restaurants, institutional food service operations, catering businesses and hotel and motel food services. The industry employs one out of every ten workers in Wisconsin.
“Justice Rebecca Bradley’s approach is to interpret the law as written, as opposed to creating new laws from the bench,” said Pete Hanson, Vice President of Public Affairs for the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. “She is a real asset to the State Supreme Court and the people of Wisconsin,” said Hanson. “We at the Wisconsin Restaurant Association appreciate her temperament and experience on the bench and wish her a successful campaign and a long tenure on the state’s highest court.
Justice Rebecca Bradley is the only candidate in this race who has experience as a trial lawyer, circuit court judge, appellate court judge and Supreme Court Justice.
