I want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to go to the polls or voted early in support of my campaign to ensure the rule of law stays on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. I look forward to continuing my service to the people of Wisconsin and am proud to have run a positive campaign based on my judicial philosophy.
Health insurance is a contract with an insurance company in which you pay regular premiums and in return receive full or partial reimbursement for various medical services. Before 2019, it was mandatory in the U.S. to get health insurance, and you would pay a fine if you didn’t have it. As of 2019, the requirement has been eliminated at the state level, but in some cheap health insurance wisconsin states health insurance is mandatory.¹ Health care in the U.S. is very expensive: Year after year, the U.S. ranks first among other countries in the amount of medical expenses per person. For example, in 2019 that amount was $10,948. However, government insurance programs in the U.S. are provided only for certain categories of citizens, so the issue of buying insurance is relevant for most residents of the country, unless the insurance is provided by the employer.
