[Madison, Wis.] – Today, Justice Rebecca Bradley’s campaign announced that she received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police.

“Law enforcement throughout the state clearly believes I am the best candidate to continue serving the people of Wisconsin on the Supreme Court, and I appreciate their support” said Justice Rebecca Bradley. “As the only law and order candidate in this race, I am truly blessed to have the backing of those who put their lives on the line every day for our safety and well-being.”

The Fraternal Order of Police is the largest Police organization in existence, with more than 325,000 members worldwide. Members include active and retired law enforcement officers at the Federal, State and Local levels. The Fraternal Order of Police is dedicated to improving the safety, well being, and working conditions of law enforcement officers through legislation, education and involvement in community affairs.

“The Wisconsin FOP supports Justice Bradley’s belief in a originalist interpretation of the Constitution, and the passion with which she has sworn to uphold it. The voters of Wisconsin can be confident in our belief that Justice Rebecca Bradley will continue to conduct herself with integrity and fairness to all parties, and that her decisions will be guided by the Rule of Law,” said Don Kapla, President Wisconisn State Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police. “As the voice of law enforcement officers, it is particularly important to us that Justices refrain from “legislating from the bench.” We are bound by the statutes that the legislature has enacted, and it is imperative that our High Court Justices rule on issues according to the way the laws are written, not how they would prefer them to be.

Justice Rebecca Bradley is the only candidate in this race who has experience as a trial lawyer, circuit court judge, appellate court judge and Supreme Court Justice. Justice Rebecca Bradley’s positive campaign is centered on her experience, service to the people of Wisconsin, and judicial philosophy.
