EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) — Justice Rebecca Bradley says when voters head to the polls this spring, she doesn’t think they will judge her based on who appointed her to the court.

 

Bradley was in Eau Claire Monday morning.

 

She was appointed by Governor Scott Walker to finish the late Justice Patrick Crooks’ term, and is running for a full term in the spring election.

 

Bradley believes voters will vote for her based on what she stands for.

 

“I’m communicating to the voters that I believe the role of a judge is to apply the law, as it’s written, not impose policy preferences or legislate from the bench,” explains Bradley.
